Life is good! Life is inspirational!

When Alice fell down the rabbit hole
It wasn’t as it appeared
For as she fell she crashed and bashed
Just as you might have feared

Before landing at the bottom there
All bruised and rather sore
With broken foot; so hopping mad
She set off to make war

She kicked the nearest table and
She shouted out in pain
“By gosh – I’m gonna get you now,
Dear Rabbit – run again”

“For however fast you dash and dart
I’ll hound you down and more
And then you won’t be pearly white
But in pie you’ll go for sure”

“For my foot is really hurting and
My pride has had a fall
And now I want just sweet revenge
Despite the fact you’re small”

“You’ve dug into a footpath that’s
A public right of way
No regard for health and safety now
To that – what do you say?”

“You didn’t put a sign up nor
Apply to dig the road
So now my little bunnykins
I’m going to explode”

“And sue you through the court system
Take you for all you’re worth
And get my own back if it’s the
Last thing I do on earth”

But white rabbit muttered something
And then dashed right on through
The smallest door she’d ever seen
And one all painted blue.

He laughed and gave no backwards glance
Nor cared for what came next
For he was more concerned about
The time.  Oh he was vexed!”

“For now she’d make him late you see
By ranting on and on
So he turned his back against her frown
And scurried right along.

And Alice – well you think you know
Just where she then went. True?
But did you know she didn’t tail
And go through door so blue?”

Instead she dragged her broken foot
Back to the path up high
And dialled the number 999
For help lest she might die

And dosed up on a morphine drip
She dreamt of things so weird
Like tea parties with mad march hares
And Queen of Hearts with beards

She dreamt of Cheshire cats smiling
Of Tweedle Dum and Dee
But when she woke she found that she
Had gone to A and E
